Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

The Lehigh Valley Let's Build Construction Camp for Girls is open to girls ages 12-18. 

Learn about architecture, engineering, and manufacturing during construction-related field trips to area businesses.

• Learn basic design/drafting, basic engineering, and hands on learning of the construction trades (carpentry, electrical, flooring, HVAC, masonry, painting, plumbing, roofing, siding, and more)
• Build confidence, feel empowered, and learn leadership skills
• Explore the latest technology used in architecture, engineering, and construction
• Learn about career opportunities and be mentored by powerful industry professionals
• Go on fieldtrips to an architecture firm, engineering firm, and building product manufacturing facility

Camp is FREE to attend!  Camp registration will be open from 2/1/26-4/4/26.

Welcome to our program tailored for children ages 4-12 where we empower participants to effectively manage their emotions and foster compassion for others. Our Animal Interaction activities are designed to enhance teamwork, alleviate anxiety, improve communication skills, and promote sensory awareness. All this while teaching mindfulness and calm.
