3- Grab Dinner at One of the Lehigh Valley's AMAZING Food Trucks!
Is it just me, or does food just taste better from a food truck? Maybe it's just because I didn't have to cook it. Either way, this month, take a night off of cooking and head outside for a casual, yet delicious, dinner! This month there are multiple food truck options! Every Thursday, head to the South Mall for Food Truck Thursdays. Every Friday, you can head to Tolino Vineyards for Food Truck Fridays. Later this month, head to Coca-Cola Park for Iron Pigs Food Truck Fest. My family went last year and there was quite an extensive selection of food trucks, plus live music and characters! Many local wineries and breweries also offer different food trucks throughout the spring, so check the schedule for your favorite!
4- Cheer on the Iron Pigs! (https://www.milb.com/lehigh-valley)
Baseball season is back, and Iron Pigs games are a great way to get your baseball fix at an affordable price. The team is home for two weeks in May, and there are fun theme nights planned for each game! Some fun themes include: Tail Waggin' Tuesdays, 80's Night, and tons of fireworks!
5- Splash Around in Your Local Pool (https://www.bethlehem-pa.gov/Recreation/Recreation-Activities/Pools, https://www.lowersaucontownship.org/hellertown.html, https://www.solecopool.org)
Memorial Day is at the end of the summer, and many local pools offer seasonal memberships, punch cards, or drop-in daily rates. This makes it affordable for anyone to hit the pool on a warm day. Now let's just cross our fingers that this warm weather is here to stay!
