Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks is providing two free demo music classes on August 4 at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at En Avant School of Dance, located on Route 378 in Bethlehem. The classes are open to children from ages birth to five years old and an accompanying parent or guardian. Pre-registration is required. Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks provides a unique blend of contemporary rock and roll music with classic teaching techniques. Children sing, dance, rock, and jam to music from Music for Aardvarks and Other Mammals, a music program for families with music from Jack's Big Music Show on Nickelodeon's Noggin Network. Health and safety is paramount. In accordance with Pennsylvania's reopening phases and guidelines, Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks is operating at a 50 percent capacity. Superior cleanliness practices along with appropriate physical distancing is enforced. Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks is owned by musician Melissa Chill. Originally a New Jersey-based business, Ms. Chill is expanding to Eastern Pennsylvania. Class sessions run seasonally and range from six to 10 weeks long. Attending a free music class does not require future registration. Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks hosting studio - En Avant School of Dance - is located at 3672 Route 378 in Bethlehem in the Sherwin Williams building.
