This article highlights my journey with Jenny Craig for the week of March 1-7

There is a little less of me this week thanks to the six amazing meals I've been eating throughout the day. I'm down 3.9 lbs total so far (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program) since I've started Jenny Craig and am continuing on the Balanced Meal Plan for 1200 calories per day. I've been working on continuing good eating habits and making sure I drink a lot of water. I've got my alarms set on my phone to remind me to eat because I know myself at work and home... without that reminder, I tend to get caught up in things and forget about me. It has been working wonderfully to keep me on track with my snacks and meals. 

I've been trying new variations of vegetables which not only benefits my own eating habits but has been opening my husband and kids up to trying new things as well. Jenny Craig has been the answer to my weight loss needs but in a lot of ways, it has been an amazing tool for my entire household. With the Rapid Results program, which uses your body's natural circadian rhythms, we aren't snacking at night. The 12 hour fast keeps me from snacking after 7 PM and I wake up ready for breakfast. I don't always have time to eat breakfast at home so the convenience of the meals is perfect for a working mom on the go. 




I haven't had to give up snacks and the things I love either. Jenny Craig teaches food is fine in moderation. I can enjoy the Kettle Corn on my menu or even  a slice of Triple Chocolate Cheesecake. This is why I love this program and why I am doing so well. I don't feel like I am starving myself, I am eating foods I love, and I still get yummy snacks!  I am even going to bed earlier each night because I am not staying up snacking. 

The Jenny Craig program has helped me feel better about myself in so many ways. I feel confident and powerful knowing that I can change bad habits and stick with the program. I can visualize my goals and I know if I continue to stick to the menu I am going to see a lot less of me and love it!
