I spent 4 years trying to lose the weight I put on after having my second child. I was never able to find a plan or program I could actually stick with. I always went back to the bad habits that put me here in the first place. I was feeling really down about myself. My clothes were feeling snug and I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. That's why I am thankful for finding Jenny Craig. For the first time in a long time I am on the path I want to be on. I am feeling good about myself and can actually see the progress.
This week I put on my yoga pants, because let's be honest, I have been working from home now for 3 weeks so that is all I am literally wearing at this point, and they felt different. My yoga pants felt different. I am still in shock saying it. I could feel a difference all around. I am down 12.1lbs (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program) since starting Jenny Craig and I can see and feel the difference. The best part is I honestly don't feel like I am dieting. I have been eating more throughout the day than I have in a long time but thanks to Jenny Craig I am making better choices. On their 1200 calorie meal plan, I am still feeling full and I don't have to worry about calorie counting. It is all laid out for me in the menu and I get the food directly from them. In fact, I don't even have to leave my car right now. With their curbside pickup and home delivery I just pull up to the front door and they load my trunk. I also have the added benefit of my fabulous Jenny Craig consultant, Melinda, calling me once and week (and more if I need her to) to coach me through this.

This past week I ate an amazing Chocolate Lava Cake and tried two new Jenny Craig Bars, Sweet & Salty Peanut Bar and Chocolate Fudge Brownie Bar. The fact that I can eat these foods and not feel guilty is amazing. I am still eating foods I love and losing the weight that even my yoga pants fit better. Jenny Craig is not only helping me eat right but is also giving me the motivation to stay active even when I need to stay home.
