When I teach my students the difference between spelling desert and dessert I tell them dessert has an extra "s" because you always want more. I love that with Jenny Craig I always have a dessert every single night. I can relay on something sweet or savory to end my night such as a Smores Bar, Kettle Corn, or Ranch Snaps. This is something I never treated myself with before I started Jenny Craig because I thought snacks and desserts were a big no when trying to lose weight. I would deprive myself of the things I really wanted until I snapped and went on an eating binge. TRUTH BOMB: This is why most weight loss plans don't work. We deprive ourselves the food we are craving and end up eating more when we finally cave in. With Jenny Craig, I have ended each night with a delicious treat and I am down over 13.5lbs (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program) and I can see and feel the difference.
So let's talk my favorites. I narrowed it down to the three decadent treats I would have never eaten before starting the program. These are the desserts that were reserved for special occasions only and I get to enjoy them on my Balanced Meal Plan. First on my list, my absolute favorite, Lemon Cake. I love to eat the Lemon Cake frozen because it doesn't freeze solid rather it has such a crisp, cold, melt in your mouth burst of lemon flavor. I am not exaggerating when I say I close my eyes and savor every single bite of this amazing cake. | ![]() |
![]() | My second favorite dessert is the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake. Yes, you read that correctly. I have a Triple Chocolate Cheesecake on my menu plan and it is as delicious as it looks and sounds. The chocolate drizzle and chocolate morsels on top add to the decadence of this dessert that I can eat guilt-free. |
I can't go without singing the praises of another chocolate masterpiece I can enjoy without shame, the Chocolate Lava Cake. I pop this cake into the microwave for a few second to melt the amazing chocolate center that oozes down the soft chocolate cake. Every bite of this warm chocolate explosion is savored. | ![]() |
With Jenny Craig, I am not counting calories or avoiding food. I am eating the planned out menu of 1200 calories a day and enjoying 3 meals a day plus 3 snacks a day including these mouthwatering, decadent, melt in your mouth desserts. I am down over 13.5lbs (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program) and living my best life eating foods like these.
