Let's talk breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. It is also the meal I skipped the most. I don't know why. I mean, as a mom, I always made sure my kids had a healthy breakfast before they started their day but the idea of having that healthy food energy didn't seem to matter much to my own brain. I survived on black coffee in the morning and maybe, if the rest of the house forget about them, I would take a banana just so they wouldn't turn brown. My daughter called me out on it a few times. Why was I telling her how important breakfast was if I wasn't eating it myself?
![]() | Fast forward to me starting the Jenny Craig program. I eat a delicious breakfast to start my day every day and I feel the difference in my energy levels. My menu has some amazing breakfast options that vary from coffee cake to breakfast burrito plus my dairy and my fruit. I love waking up to eat breakfast now. I don't wake up with hunger pangs but rather I am excited to fuel my body and my brain for the day with the chef-inspired breakfast options I love! Every other day I also get to indulge in a Jenny Craig Shake which are my favorite. I usually opt for the Vanilla Cream Shake because I love to use my immersion blender to add my serving of fruit and make it a tasty creation. Occasionally I switch it up for a chocolate to make a chocolate banana shake which my entire house is jealous of! The Shakes might be my favorite part of breakfast but the entrees are still amazing! The Blueberry Pancakes and Sausage are in my top 5 and I even get prepackaged breakfast syrup so I don't overdo it. |
One thing that really amazed me with Jenny Craig is how there are so many different types of breakfast options from sweet to savory. The Cinnamon Coffee Cake breakfast is one of my favorites. It has just the right amount of sweet and cinnamon to make it the perfect breakfast to enjoy with my favorite cup of black coffee. My consultant shared the tip that if you don't like black coffee you can add some Vanilla Cream Shake as a creamer -- I haven't tried because I am a black coffee drinker but they accommodate for all tastes and preferences! | ![]() |
![]() | New on the Jenny Craig menu is the Morning Frittata Sandwich. The Frittata, which is similar to an omelette, is the "bread" to this amazing sandwich. Inside is melty cheese and Canadian bacon. This is definitely an eat with a fork sandwich, in my opinion, but is one of my new favorite dishes that Jenny Craig is offering. It is one of those dishes I could eat every day. It is amazing how going from not eating breakfast to loving it so much can happen so fast. This is just another one of the healthy habits I learned thanks to Jenny Craig. The amazing breakfast offerings keep me moving all morning thanks to the healthy and delicious choices. |
