When I stepped on the scale this week I couldn't get that 80's song out of my head. I made it! My halfway to my goal weight loss point happened. I am down 16.5 lbs (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program). I've hit a few roadblocks along the way but stuck to it and here I am singing Bon Jovi around my house. Jenny Craig has made it easy by giving me a menu with foods I enjoy.
So what does my Jenny Craig weight loss look like?
Physically, my lower stomach, you know the baby flat tire, is getting smaller. I see it and feel it in my sides the most. Bye-bye, love handles! My yoga pants, because I honestly live in them while working from home, feel loose around my lower tummy and upper thigh area. They used to have a restrictive feel to them. Now they feel loose and comfortable. I can comfortably wear those clothes again, that to be honest, I was squeezing into before, and now I can even go down a size in certain brands.
Mentally, I am seeing myself in a whole new light. With summer coming, I am feeling more confident about wearing my summer clothes. I feel happier when I look in the mirror. That felt impossible before I started Jenny Craig. I am excited to hit my goal and I am keeping my wish list ready for when I hit my next goal so I can reward myself with some new clothes. Hitting the goal is what is keeping me moving and motivating. I know summer is coming and I know if I keep working hard I will look better and feel better.
My Jenny Craig consultant, Melinda, LOVES to celebrate milestones! She didn't let social distancing stop the party! When she brought me my curb side pick up, which she loads directly into the trunk for a contactless pick up, she also came out yelling and waving pom poms! When I got home I had an awesome little milestone reminder too, my awesome Congratulations Certificate and a balloon was with my food! That's why I love Jenny Craig so much! The program is easy and you get an amazing consultant who cheers you on every step of the way!
