This week, my consultant reminded me of something really important. She said, "You never have to give up the food you love for a diet. You just have to watch how much you eat." This is why Jenny Craig is working for me. I'm down 18.1 lbs (* Avg. weight loss 1-2 lbs/week for members following the program) and I don't feel like I'm missing out on any food. I am eating my three meals a day plus my three snacks and I am not depriving myself of the foods and flavors I love.
Jenny Craig is teaching me to eat on a schedule with my 1200 calories per day so I am not snacking at night or eating dinner right before bed. This was something I was guilty of before starting the program and it turns out it was the biggest culprit for my weight gain in the past.
